Momčad s Apeninskog polutokoa česti su gosti na Kvarnerskoj rivijeri a i dobri predstavnici talijanskog nogometa. Tako je momčad Fiorentine iz Firenze 1975. godine dospjela do finala gdje je zaustavljena od odmaćina 2:0 .

Hello everyone,
My name's Fabio and I'm from Italy. First of all I'd like apologize with all of you if I'm not writing in croatian but I only know Italian and a bit of English. I'm replying to this post because this pic is not taken from the 1972 Kvarnerska Rivijera final between Hajduk Split and Dinamo Zagreb (6-1), but it was taken in the semi-final match Hajduk Split-SS Lazio (2-0). I recognized in this pic my father, the goalkeeper Alvaro Rezzonico...and he recognized himself too. He played the second half of that game and then the whole 3d/4th place final vs HNK Rijeka (4-2 and he saved also a penalty kick). Also I can say that the n.6 (the SS Lazio's captain) is Tommaso Frau and he saw this pic today and he recognized himself too. Since 2001 I'm trying to find pics or newspaper's articles about the 20th edition of "1972 Kvarnerska Rivijera tournament " but unfortunately I didn't find anything. This is the only pic I find out and I thank all of you for this. It would be grateful if somebody of you could help me in this hard research; I need for example the name of croatian newspaper at that time where I can try to find some photos or articles...or if exists a book of that tournament...the lineups of the game and also the days when matches were played. My father conserved the medal of that edition and a newspaper articles (very short and in italian) about the 3rd and 4th place final. I'd like to share those with all of you if you want. Many thanks and look forward to hear from you and let me apologize with you if I wrote too much or I disturbed you...but you're the one that can helps me.

P.s. Do you recognize the Hajduk player in the pic? I don't know him...but my father remember that in that game there was a young player that some years later became one of the best forward in Europe...Ivica Surjak. Thanks again

There are two newspapers in Rijeka in this time: Novi List in Croatian and La Voce del Popolo in Italian language.

Do you know if somewhere in the web i can find the historical archive of "La Voce del Popolo" newspaper? I already tried to find some croatian newspapers in Rome's Central Library but..there's nothing in their archive...no croatian newspapers....nothing...
